What wellbeing and counselling services offer, and how to access them.

What they offer

Most UK universities have a wellbeing or counselling service. Support may include drop-ins, short-term counselling, workshops and help with study adjustments.

How to access it

Look on your university website for "wellbeing" or "student support". Services are confidential and free for students. You do not need to be in crisis to ask for help.

Student Minds also has guidance for students looking after their mental health.

This guide is general information, not professional, medical or legal advice. Rules and services change, so check the official source before acting.
